Vyshak was born as a healthy baby but without both hands. His father is Mr. Balakrishnan, auto rickshaw driver. His mother is Mrs.Geetha, homemaker. Even with his unfortunate physical condition, little Vyshak was a charming and pleasant boy in his childhood. He managed to do all of his daily routines himself. His parents sent him to school in time. He learned to write with foot while in the primary classes, encouraged by the teachers from Ettukudukka U.P.school, Kannur. He completed the matriculation and the higher secondary education with very good marks from Cheemeni Higher Secondary school, Kasaragod. He wrote both the examinations with his left foot.
Vyshak started drawing pictures with his foot from his primary classes onwards. The parents and teachers gave good support for his attempts. During that period, he participated in various art and painting competitions including district level school art contests and got special appreciations. Besides the school exhibitions, his paintings were selected for the art show of 'Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan' (The Education for All Movement - govt. of India).
In 2011, he met Mr. Ganesh Kumar who is the renowned mouth painter in India and occasionally visited him to learn the basic theories of painting. Mr. Ganesh Kumar told him about MFPA and its immense support to the artists without hands who draw and paint. By his inspiring words, nowadays Vyshak seriously dedicates most of his time for drawing and painting. His favorite subject is landscape and he uses watercolor medium.
Now Vyshak is 2nd year undergraduate student in the subject of history, in Payyannur college, Kannur, Kerala. He spends his free time with his various pet birds like doves, parrots and lovebirds.
Vyshak has been a member of MFPA since 2015.
