Foot Painter Liao Jui-Chin was born on 27 September 1975 in Taipeh. At the age of three, he fell ill with meningitis and lived in the 'Faith, Love and Hope’ orphanage until the age of fifteen. The child minder encouraged and enabled him to attend secondary school where he was taught to write, paint and draw with his foot. His hobbies are chess, swimming and ball games.
